Lamia, Isabella, The Eve of St. Agnes, and Other Poems
The witness is the 1820 first edition (London, Taylor and Hessey). The printed contents list 13 poems. 11 were assigned from the witness. Ode and Lines on the Mermaid Tavern were placed by hand, because the witness shows them and the scorer could not. ODE stands over page 128; the OCR of the opening is Barps of Passion and of Mirth. LINES / ON / THE MERMAID TAVERN stands over the next poem; the OCR of the opening is Souts of Poets dead and gone. Both headings have the verse following in order, and both titles are on the contents page. The threshold was not lowered. Only membership is by hand. The order was derived from the body, beginning at LAMIA after the contents; Ode was placed from the heading ODE. Isabella, Lines on the Mermaid Tavern, and The Eve of St. Agnes keep sequence null because the printed headings are not the corpus titles as a single witness line.
Numbers rank the poems whose position in the book is known; they are not page numbers.
