Poems
The witness is the 1927 Noel Douglas replica of Keats's Poems (London, C. and J. Ollier, 1817), the British Museum copy. The range in membership.witnesses is that 1817 volume, beginning at its title page after the replica's wrapper. 29 were assigned from the witness. The 30th, Addressed to Benjamin Robert Haydon, was placed by hand, because the witness shows it and the scorer could not. The corpus stores the two 1817 sonnets as one record with parts: I opens "Great spirits now on earth are sojourning" (printed XIV, Addressed to the Same) and II opens "Highmindedness, a jealousy for good" (printed XIII, Addressed to Haydon). Walking forward from the opening of I cannot find II, which is earlier in the book, and the OCR of XIV's first word is GTBEAT. The heading ADDRESSED TO HAYDON stands over XIII and ADDRESSED TO THE SAME over XIV, with the verse of each following in order. The threshold was not lowered. Only membership is by hand. The corpus title is not a heading in the book, so this record keeps sequence null. The 1817 book is a dedication, nine poems, three epistles, seventeen sonnets, and Sleep and Poetry. The two Haydon sonnets are one corpus record, so thirty poems of that book are on disk and in this volume.
Numbers rank the poems whose position in the book is known; they are not page numbers.
