Underwoods

Witness is the 1887 Chatto and Windus first edition (University of California copy), lines 58-3541, which is the volume's verse; the publisher's catalogue bound in after page 138 is excluded. The 38 assigned are the whole of the corpus's overlap with this volume: Book II, 'In Scots', is printed here but its sixteen poems are absent from the Standard Ebooks compilation the corpus was extracted from, so there was nothing to assign.

Numbers rank the poems whose position in the book is known; they are not page numbers.
